Stop in at the DeMotte Library on the 4th Thursday of every month from September to April (excluding December) to enjoy snacks, books, activities, and crafts based around a theme.
Enjoy 30 minutes of reading, songs, fingerplays, and socialization with other 1 year old children and their caregivers. Each half hour long session of Lapsit Story Time consists of a variety of activities, such as music, stories, toys to play with and other fun movements.

Many of the school districts in the library’s service area offer the Accelerated Reader program. Students earn points at school by reading from a list of pre-selected books, and then taking tests about the books.
