The Jasper County Public Libraries, located in Rensselaer, DeMotte and Wheatfield, will be closed on Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. All three libraries will resume normal business hours on Monday.

Youth Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Children Pre K thru 5th grade are welcome to join us for a recycling program.  Marc Maguran form the Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District will be joining us to talk about the 3 R's.  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. 

Meet Local Heroes

You are invited to come meet some of our local hereos.  We will have special guests from the Rensselaer Police, Fire and Ambulance.  They will also be bringing their police cars, firetrucks and ambulance for us to get up close and look at.
