Own The Night is the Teen Summer Reading Program this summer at all JCPL libraries. Now is the time to visit your local library to sign up, pick up reading packets, read the various rules, and get started Reading!!

In June we are launching new circulation rules that we think will be welcomed by patrons of all ages. We are extending loan limits and renewals on some of our most popular materials just in time for the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.

If you have imagined a Jasper County full of walking, horse and bike paths, you are not alone.

This spring, representatives of Jasper County Economic Development, the National Park Service and the Northwest Indiana Regional Plan Commission held public meetings around the county to solicit input from citizens as to where and what those paths might look like.

With summer just around the corner, I'm sure you're already starting to ponder how you'll spend your time.

Are you interested in something that allows you to spend time with friends, be in an air-conditioned facility, and have fun? Well, then the library is where you need to be!

National Library Week honors libraries, librarians, and library staff all across the country, and is celebrated the week of April 9-14.

Come find out why You Belong @ Your Library April 9-14 during National Library Week.

Enter our week-long Coloring Contest, open to ages 3-11.

To enter, pick up a coloring sheet at any branch of JCPL and return it by April 14. Coloring pages will be judged by age category.

If you're a teen in grades 6-12, come to the library March 4-10 for special events just for you.

The first tax forms and booklets are starting to arrive at the library, and more shipments are expected in the coming days.

As in previous years, we may not have the form you need, and we cannot advise you as to which form you need, but if you know the form number, we can print it for you from the Internet at 10 cents per page.
