From flowers to covered bridges to hot air balloons, Terri Ulbrich sees the beauty in everything around her through the lens of her camera. Family and friends depend on this talented photographer to capture special events on film, and Terri never attends special occasions without bringing her camera along.

"I was walking through the park one day; in the merry, merry month of May..." and so the song goes.

The merry month of May brings great things to the outdoors, but it also brings great things to the indoors of the Jasper County Public Library.

Can you believe it’s almost summer? I know I can’t – this year has flown quicker than a jet plane.

Soon we will be enjoying the late nights, warm breezes, bonfires, and everything else that that the season brings. But there’s one more summer tradition I want to remind you of…Summer Reading at the library!

May is here and that means time to finish school and get ready for SUMMER! What plans are you and your family making this year? Don't forget about Summer Reading at the Library!

Celebrate National Library Week April 14-20

This week, Jasper County Public Library, located in Rensselaer, DeMotte and Wheatfield, joins libraries in schools, campuses and communities nationwide in celebrating National Library Week, a time to highlight the value of libraries, librarians and library workers.
