Looking for ideas for summer reading? How about the reading lists of authors and celebrities? How about if you could then donate those books to U.S. Service Members and communities in need of new books?
Things We Read, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in the state of New York that aims to do just that.
Summer is here this month, and so is summer reading. There is a lot of science going on this year with FIZZ BOOM READ, so be sure to check out the exciting programs and events happening at your local library.
I wish I had a nickel for every time I start a sentence with the words, “I wish…” I wish it would only rain at night and that the sun would shine all day long…I wish the wind would stop blowing; it’s giving me a stretch of bad hair days like no other; I wish the pollen count were not so high (sniff, sniff).

Looking for something to do this summer? Need service hours completed for a school or community group? Want to spend time with friends? Or kids? Then consider becoming a volunteer at your local library for the Summer Reading Program.
May is here and that means time to finish school and get ready for SUMMER! What plans are you and your family making this year? Don't forget about Summer Reading at the Library! Signups for most programs start this month.
